Mark Brandon – Chair

Mark is an internationally recognised thought leader and expert on strategy, health and aged care quality and accreditation and government relations. Mark held the CEO position at the Australian government’s Aged Care Standards and Accreditation Agency from 2002 to 2013. He previously held senior executive roles in Medibank Private and Medicare. He a member of the panels of experts for the International Federation on Ageing and the International Society for Quality in Healthcare where he was the chair of the Quality in Social Care for Older Persons special interest group and vice chair of the International Accreditation Council. He is currently a senior executive with Estia Health.

Mark was awarded an Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in June 2015, in recognition of his contribution to health and aged care standards.
