The Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) replaced the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI) on 1 October 2022.
The new funding model applies to all permanent aged care residents in Australia.
You will gain an understanding in:
- Principles of documentation to optimise AN ACC class allocation with a Consumer Directed Care approach
- Management of data and how to analyse information to ensure you have timely re-assessments
- Management of AN ACC processes including influence on care minutes
Presented by Karina Peace RN, BNS, G. Cert Bus, MN (Health Man).
Karina has extensive and many years’ experience leading for profit and not for profit organisations on a national level to embed ACFI systems and processes, promoting stable and maximised claims for the assessed care needs of residents.
Karina is a committee member several State and National networking groups and of the RUCS (now Aged Care Funding Reform Committee), and actively works with our government to ensure a national standardised approach to AN ACC and future reforms.
