Capturing the views of older consumers is an increasingly important part in monitoring government subsidised aged care. Consumer feedback on their experiences with providers is a part of reviews against the new Aged Care Quality Standards. CHSP providers are also required to submit an annual Wellness Report about their progress in implementing wellness and reablement approaches.
This half day workshop identifies how providers can harness voice of their consumers in these processes. It identifies information about the consumer experience that will strongly support assessment against the standards and how to gather this information for use in quality reviews. It also explores the options for gathering information about wellness outcomes from consumers themselves.
The workshop will cover:
- Two aspects of the consumer voice – the consumer experience and consumer outcomes
- Consumer feedback evidence suggestions for each of the eight Aged Care Quality Standards
- Capturing consumer feedback on wellness and reablement outcomes
