Neil Pahuja – Chair

Neil brings more than 25 years of aged care operations experience across both the not-for-profit and private sectors. Throughout his career, he has focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable and at-risk older people, including those experiencing homelessness, individuals with complex health needs, war veterans, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

He is a long-standing Board member of ACIA, having served as Deputy Chair and now as Chair. Neil also represents ACIA on the ACQSC Consultation Forum and is an active participant in the Australian Workers Industry Council stakeholder forum. He previously led ACIA’s Industrial Relations Committee for many years.

Neil holds multiple Board positions across a range of sectors and is recognised by the aged care sector for his collaborative approach and willingness to share his experience in support of providers and their teams.
