The Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety commenced in Adelaide on 18th January 2019.
We will look at:
- Learnings from the preparation of responses to the invitation from the Commission to provide, amongst other things, details of ‘occasions of substandard care’. Counsel assisting the Royal Commission has stated that substandard care will be a key focus of the Commission
- Update on where hearings have focused to date
- A review of the Commission’s Terms of Reference and where the focus of hearings might be going forward (including any information provided by the Commission in that regard)
ACIA highly encourage members and non-members to forward feedback, concerns or inquires to firstname.lastname@example.org on or before Thursday 25th April 2019 to design further learning opportunities in May 2019.
